Are you a Legal Assistant with experience supporting Insurance teams?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded, award-winning national law firm known for its authentic, inclusive and supportive culture. You will join a busy and well-established General Insurance & Litigation team, providing high-level legal administration and personal assistant support in a varied role.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting a Insurance/litigation practice and be confident working in a fast-paced legal environment.

Who will you be supporting?
You will provide support to a team of five fee earners within a highly regarded General Insurance & Litigation practice. You will work closely with lawyers and a range of internal and external stakeholders, playing an integral role in the smooth running of the team.

Our day-to-day responsibilities will be:
  • Drafting, typing, editing, formatting and proofreading correspondence, memoranda, briefs and court documents
  • Managing diaries, booking meetings and answering telephone enquiries
  • Preparing monthly client reports and assisting with billing
  • Preparing and collating briefs to Counsel
  • Creating and updating PowerPoint presentations
  • Maintaining databases and ensuring information is kept up to date
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Providing general legal administration and PA support to the team
Do you have the following skillset?
  • Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary within a Insurance environment is essential
  • Experience supporting Insurance law/Litigation matters is highly desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy legal environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • A proactive, collaborative and positive approach to your work
