You will join a busy and well-established General Insurance & Litigation team, providing high-level legal administration and personal assistant support in a varied role.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting a Insurance/litigation practice and be confident working in a fast-paced legal environment.
Who will you be supporting?
You will provide support to a team of five fee earners within a highly regarded General Insurance & Litigation practice. You will work closely with lawyers and a range of internal and external stakeholders, playing an integral role in the smooth running of the team.
Our day-to-day responsibilities will be:
- Drafting, typing, editing, formatting and proofreading correspondence, memoranda, briefs and court documents
- Managing diaries, booking meetings and answering telephone enquiries
- Preparing monthly client reports and assisting with billing
- Preparing and collating briefs to Counsel
- Creating and updating PowerPoint presentations
- Maintaining databases and ensuring information is kept up to date
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Providing general legal administration and PA support to the team
- Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary within a Insurance environment is essential
- Experience supporting Insurance law/Litigation matters is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy legal environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A proactive, collaborative and positive approach to your work
