Are you a Senior Legal Assistant with 5+ years’ litigation experience looking to join a high-performing and well-regarded national law firm? This is an excellent opportunity to support a leading disputes practice known for handling complex and high-profile matters.

Working within a collaborative and fast-paced environment, you will play a key role in supporting senior lawyers while ensuring the smooth running of matters from commencement through to resolution. This role would suit a proactive Legal Assistant who thrives on responsibility, enjoys working closely with lawyers and clients, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.

Who will they be supporting? You will provide dedicated support to a Partner and a team of lawyers within a litigation practice, assisting on a broad range of complex matters.

Your day to day responsibilities will be:
  • Drafting, formatting and proofreading correspondence, court documents and briefs
  • Preparing and collating briefs to Counsel
  • Managing diaries, meetings and travel arrangements
  • Matter management including file opening, document management and e-filing
  • Billing, time entry and reporting
  • Liaising with clients, barristers and internal stakeholders
  • Preparing presentations and assisting with business development activities
  • Compiling large documents and maintaining document management systems
Do you have the following skillset?
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Legal Assistant within a litigation practice
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with legal practice management or document management systems
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Professional approach when liaising with clients and stakeholders
