Executive Assistant to CEO
Partner with a highly client-facing CEO in a fast-paced organisation, managing complex priorities, travel and senior stakeholder relationships.

This is a substantial, fast-paced position supporting a leader with a highly external remit and responsibility for a broad executive team. The CEO relies on their EA as a trusted partner who can create structure around a demanding schedule, remain ahead of shifting priorities and exercise sound judgement without needing constant direction.
The successful candidate will gain genuine visibility across the organisation’s strategy, leadership and governance activity. The previous EA established considerable trust and subsequently progressed into a broader operational leadership position, demonstrating the potential exposure and professional development this role can offer.
You will take ownership of the CEO’s day-to-day effectiveness, including:
- Managing a complex and fluid diary, with priorities changing throughout the day
- Protecting the CEO’s time and ensuring sufficient focus on commercially important matters
- Coordinating an executive leadership team of 12 direct reports
- Managing frequent domestic travel and approximately five to six international trips each year
- Maintaining close communication with the CEO and providing regular updates as priorities evolve
- Building productive relationships with senior stakeholders, clients and their Executive Assistants
- Supporting board meetings, governance activity and key leadership forums
- Drafting correspondence and communications in the CEO’s tone
- Handling highly confidential and commercially sensitive information with complete discretion
- Anticipating pressure points and ensuring the CEO is prepared for upcoming commitments
You will be an accomplished Executive Assistant with substantial experience supporting a CEO or similarly senior executive in a complex corporate environment.
You will bring:
- Strong capability managing a high-volume diary and competing priorities
- Experience coordinating detailed domestic and international travel
- Exposure to board, governance or executive leadership activity
- Excellent written communication skills and the ability to adapt to an executive’s tone
- Commercial awareness and the judgement to understand what requires escalation
- Confidence building relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders
- A calm, measured approach and the ability to remain neutral when handling sensitive matters
- Strong capability across Google Workspace
This is an office-based position requiring attendance five days per week.
