Operations Manager
Ops Manager in construction/development: lead bids, systems & AI-driven process improvement to streamline delivery and drive growth.

This is a newly created role offering real scope to shape how the business operates, with a strong focus on bids, processes and innovation.
Working closely with leadership, you’ll streamline operations, drive efficiencies and play a key role in improving how the business delivers, wins work and scales.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing the day-to-day operating rhythm, including systems, processes and SOPs
- Leading end-to-end bids and tenders, from qualification through to submission
- Building and maintaining proposal content including case studies, CVs and templates
- Driving marketing coordination across LinkedIn, website, content and collateral
- Implementing and optimising systems across CRM, project management and reporting
- Using AI tools such as Claude to streamline workflows, support proposal writing and improve efficiency
- Creating dashboards and reporting across pipeline, win rates and performance
- Continuously improving processes across projects, delivery and client management
- Supporting HR admin and contributing to a positive office culture
- 2–5 years’ experience within construction, project management, property / development or architecture
- Exposure to bids, tenders or proposals is essential
- Highly organised, proactive and confident managing multiple priorities
- Tech-savvy, with a strong interest in AI and automation
- Commercially minded with a natural ability to improve processes and drive efficiency
