Working across the Corporate team, you’ll be a key support to Partners and their teams, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations in a busy, high-performing practice. Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting and preparing legal documents – agreements, security documents, board minutes, corporate resolutions, and transaction documents
- Matter and file management – conflict checks, opening/closing files, due diligence support, and compliance processes
- Billing and expenses – timesheet entry, monthly billing, WIP management, and client reporting
- Diary and travel coordination – managing busy schedules, coordinating meetings, settlements, and national/international travel
- Stakeholder communication – liaising with clients, banks, internal teams, and external advisors
- Inbox and correspondence management – monitoring, prioritising, and responding to high-volume communications
- Transaction support – assisting with deal coordination, closing bundles, and document execution
- Team support – assisting with general administration, document management, and team operations
- 2 + years of experience as a Legal Assistant or similar position in a legal environment
- A proactive, team-focused approach with strong communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience with systems such as Aderant, Elite 3e, iManage or similar (highly regarded)
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and Outlook in a fast-paced environment
- A high level of discretion and professionalism
