MJD Recruitment is partnering with a global organisation to recruit a Compliance Coordinator to support their Professional Conduct team. This is a highly organised, administrative coordination role focused on keeping compliance and ethics processes running smoothly.
You’ll play a key role behind the scenes, managing workflows, coordinating communications, tracking cases, and ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structure, organisation, and operational support, rather than investigative or decision-making compliance work.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate compliance and ethics processes, including managing inboxes, tracking cases, and ensuring deadlines are met
- Maintain and update compliance systems, databases, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Support reporting, including preparing summaries, status updates, and assisting with quarterly reporting requirements
- Coordinate internal and external communications with stakeholders, including scheduling, follow-ups, and document distribution
- Assist with case intake, background checks, evidence collection, and documentation for ethics and disciplinary matters
- Manage meeting coordination, including Disciplinary Board meetings, ensuring materials are prepared and accurate
- Track multiple workflows and timelines, ensuring adherence to procedures and process consistency
- Support process improvements by developing templates, workflows, and administrative systems
- Provide general administrative and coordination support across the Professional Conduct team while maintaining strict confidentiality
- Must have 3–5 years’ experience in administrative coordination, executive support, compliance administration, or similar
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Must be Sydney based and comfortable working autonomously
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident managing multiple workflows and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong documentation and process management skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Proactive, with the ability to work independently and improve processes
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Comfortable working across different time zones when required
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Compliance, Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent experience)
