This role is ideal for someone with previous litigation or dispute resolution experience who thrives in a collaborative team and takes pride in delivering exceptional support. You will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities with confidence.
Who will they be supporting? You will be supporting highly respected Partners and a team of Lawyers within a busy Litigation and Class Actions practice, while also working closely with other Legal Assistants across the wider team.
Your day to day responsibilities will be
- Diary and inbox management
- Preparing, drafting and formatting legal documents and correspondence
- File and matter management
- Billing, timesheet entry and client account support
- Coordinating meetings, travel and appointments
- Liaising with clients and internal stakeholders
- Assisting with reporting, document management and archiving
- Supporting business development initiatives and team administration
- 2+ years experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary within private practice
- Litigation, dispute resolution or class actions experience preferred
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with billing and document management systems
- A proactive and team-focused approach
