People & Culture Business Partner
Immediate start for an experienced HR Business Partner. Flexible part-time contract supporting a growing tech business through change.

This is a unique opportunity for a commercially minded HR Business Partner or People Consultant who enjoys working closely with leaders, coaching stakeholders and helping businesses navigate change. Reporting into an international leadership team, you will act as the trusted advisor for the Australian business, providing hands-on people support while helping shape the longer-term people strategy and operating model.
Initially offered as a contract through to October 2026, this role is expected to extend as the business works through a number of leadership and organisational changes.
The Opportunity
As the senior People representative on the ground in Australia, you will partner closely with local and international stakeholders to:
- Act as a trusted advisor to leaders during a period of organisational change
- Provide HR Business Partner support across the employee lifecycle
- Coach and guide managers on people-related matters
- Support organisational design, workforce planning and change initiatives
- Ensure compliance with Australian employment legislation and HR best practice
- Manage employee relations matters with a balanced, pragmatic approach
- Build strong relationships across the business and maintain a positive employee experience
- Assess the future people support requirements of the Australian business and make recommendations on the optimal long-term structure
About You
We are seeking a senior HR professional who combines strong commercial judgement with a calm, measured and consultative style.
You will bring:
- Proven experience in a HR Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor, People Consultant or similar role
- Experience supporting businesses through periods of growth, transformation or leadership change
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and HR best practice
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and confidently influencing outcomes
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
- A coaching mindset and strong relationship-building skills
- Previous consulting or advisory experience is advantageous
The Arrangement
- Part-time position (approximately 20-25 hours per week)
- Hybrid working model
- Approximately 2 days per week in the office and 1 day remote
- Immediate start preferred
