Our client is a leading, top-tier law firm where excellence isn't just expected, it's embedded in everything they do. The Role
Joining a high-performing Practice Support team, you'll deliver proactive, strategic business support and play a key role in managing the financial aspects of partners' practices, including client reporting. This role demands precision, initiative and a real understanding of the commercial drivers behind a top-tier practice. Day to day, you'll:
- Support senior operatives with practice and client management — financials, diary, expenses, document management and LMS administration
- Manage administrative client requirements to ensure consistent service delivery across matter teams
- Interpret data and apply client knowledge to support partners with practice management
- Own the administrative financials of a matter — billing, e-billing audits, tracking non-dispatched bills, missing timesheets, cost estimates and reporting
- Collaborate across (and beyond) the Practice Support team to uphold high standards of service
- Act as a go-to source of guidance on document production and practice management processes
- Experience in a similar role, ideally within a law firm (finance, accounting or other professional services backgrounds also welcome)
- Strong written communication and keen attention to detail — able to draft correspondence, presentations, pitch documents and slide packs quickly and accurately
- Strong organisational skills, thriving in an environment of continuous change and challenging stakeholders
- A high degree of initiative, proactivity and problem-solving, with genuine ownership of tasks and a drive to improve systems and practices
- Strong influencing skills, with the ability to respectfully manage upwards
- A desire to learn, grow, network and mentor others
- Join a globally connected, top-tier firm with a culture built on excellence and inclusion
- Unparalleled learning and development, with structured coaching and support
- A transparent, take-control approach to career development
- International secondment opportunities through the firm's global alliance
- Hybrid working (60% in-office), with flexibility considered for individual circumstances
- Be part of a team trusted to deliver results and contribute to firm-wide initiatives
