We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Legal Assistant to support a Partner specialising in Institutional Abuse matters. This opportunity would suit a career Legal Assistant who enjoys high-touch support, meaningful work, and becoming a valued part of a close-knit team.

Both full-time and part-time options are available.


You’ll work closely 1:1 with a Partner, alongside a wider team of fee earners Legal Assistants, in a role that offers autonomy, variety and long-term stability.

Your Role
In this role, you will provide end-to-end legal support within a busy Plaintiff Institutional Abuse practice, including:
  • Diary and inbox management
  • Preparation and formatting of legal documents and court materials
  • Liaising with clients, counsel, medical professionals and third parties
  • File and matter management from opening through to closure
  • Billing and administrative support
  • Coordinating appointments, mediations and meetings
  • General practice and team support
You’ll Be a Great Fit If You Have
  • 3+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant within Plaintiff, Personal Injury or Litigation
  • A compassionate and professional communication style
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to manage sensitive matters with empathy and discretion
  • A proactive and team-focused approach
  • Experience supporting at Partner level is highly regarded
  • Experience using LEAP, Practice Evolve or similar
