Are you a Legal Assistant looking to take the next step in your career within a highly regarded national law firm?
We are seeking a proactive and organised Legal Assistant to join a busy Disputes & Investigations team in Melbourne. This role will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing competing priorities and takes pride in delivering high-quality administrative support.

You will be someone with a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail and the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and clients. A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine interest in developing your career within the legal industry will see you succeed in this role.

Who will they be supporting? You will be supporting a busy team of lawyers within the Disputes & Investigations practice group, assisting with a broad range of administrative and legal support tasks while working closely with colleagues across the firm.

Your day to day responsibilities will be
  • Opening and managing new files
  • Preparing documents and correspondence, including court documentation
  • Filing court documents and maintaining accurate records
  • Diary and calendar management
  • Liaising with clients and internal stakeholders
  • General administrative and team support as required
Do you have the following skillset?
  • Previous Legal Assistant or administrative experience within professional services or a legal environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience using document production software is highly regarded
