MJD Recruitment love working with this highly regarded National law firm, who are currently searching for an experienced Leasing Paralegal within their Brisbane Real Estate team. With continued growth across the practice, this opportunity is one that will allow you to deepen your leasing experience while working alongside Senior fee earners who value strong support.

You’ll be hands-on across national and complex commercial leasing matters, supporting both landlord and tenant clients. This firm are known for their professional yet down-to-earth environment, and their strong focus on quality work, teamwork and development.

Your Role
Working closely with the Real Estate team, responsibilities will include:

• Drafting and negotiating commercial, retail and industrial leases
• Managing lease renewals, variations and surrenders
• Preparing disclosure statements and coordinating execution
• Liaising with clients, agents, landlords and tenants
• Handling pre and post completion tasks including registration where required
• Maintaining accurate files, records and lease databases
• Providing high-level paralegal support across the property team

About You
To be successful in this role you’ll have at least 2 years of experience as a Leasing Paralegal within a Property or Real Estate law team. A solid understanding of Queensland leasing legislation and processes is essential, along with strong attention to detail and confidence managing competing deadlines.

You’ll be client-focused, proactive and collaborative, with clear communication skills and a genuine interest in growing your career in leasing within a well-supported national practice.
