MJD Recruitment is partnering with a leading construction client to find a motivated and detail-oriented Office Manager to support their growing team. In this role, you’ll manage accounts, payroll, office tasks, and team events, ensuring everything runs smoothly. This is an exciting opportunity to grow in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

As our Office Manager, You’ll play a vital part in overseeing finances, boosting team morale, and keeping the office on track. you’ll drive essential tasks, from managing accounts and payroll to organising team events. If you love tackling challenges, learning new skills, and keeping things running smoothly, this is the role for you!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts and finances (Xero, BAS/IAS, reconciliations – training available)
  • Oversee payroll and staff timesheets
  • Handle office operations and supplies
  • Assist with marketing (Instagram)
  • Organise team-building events
  • Manage client intake calls and project coordination

what were looking for:
  • Team Player: You bring a positive, can-do attitude to everything you do
  • Accounts: You help keep things running smoothly by entering invoices into Xero and assisting with reconciliations and BAS/IAS submissions
  • Procore (Preferred): Manage supplier invoices and ensure everything is up to date
  • Timesheet & Payroll: Keep track of timesheets and assist with payroll and superannuation (training available on this)
  • Marketing Support: Lend a hand in keeping our Instagram fresh and handling small marketing tasks
  • Office Management: Help manage office supplies, assist with client intake calls, and take care of general office tasks
  • Team Events & Policies: Plan fun team events and help shape and implement company policies
