MJD Recruitment is proud to be working again with this highly respected National law firm, supporting their search for an experienced Legal Assistant to join the Professional Indemnity and Insurance team in Brisbane.

This position is no different! Here you’ll support a group of high-performing fee earners across defendant insurance matters, working in a collaborative, well-structured team that values quality work and strong client service.

Your Day-to-Day
This role offers variety, so each day may bring something new. Some of your duties or tasks will include:

• File management from opening through to archiving
• Monthly billing, debtor control and reporting
• Preparing correspondence and court documents
• Brief preparation for counsel and experts
• Diary and travel coordination
• Ongoing administrative support across the team

Your Experience
You’ll bring prior experience as a Legal Assistant within Insurance or Litigation, along with confidence managing competing priorities. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach are a must and will set you up for success. Most importantly, you’ll enjoy being part of a team that works together and supports one another.
