Detail-oriented and proactive administrator or paralegal with a strong interest in corporate governance, compliance and company secretarial work? This role will suit someone who thrives in a collaborative professional services environment, manages competing deadlines with confidence and takes pride in delivering high-quality support.
Who will you be supporting? You will provide dedicated support to the Head of Corporate Services (Lawyer) and team, while working closely with internal stakeholders across Corporate & Commercial.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Preparing documents relating to companies and trusts, including company registrations, business name registrations and transfers, and annual reviews
- Completing and managing ASIC online lodgements and monitoring compliance requirements
- Administering trust deed stamping processes and coordinating associated payments
- Maintaining and updating company, trust and partner directorship records and databases
- Managing correspondence, couriers and document distribution
- Opening new files, file maintenance and archiving in line with firm procedures
- Preparing monthly billing and assisting with billing-related administration
- Responding to internal and external enquiries in a professional manner
- Supporting special Corporate Services projects and process improvements
- 3–5+ years’ experience in a Corporate Services, company secretarial, paralegal or professional services administration role
- Hands-on experience with ASIC lodgements and corporate compliance processes
- Exposure to company secretarial, corporate services or trust administration work
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Confident communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
- Advanced Microsoft Word and Outlook skills
- Experience with billing processes and timesheet entry
